As a fan of the original, I was anticipating this movie for months. It did not disappoint. It was a visually stunning movie, with great action sequences and the "upgrading" of the games was worth the ticket price. The only draw-back that I encountered was that there was not much of a story line. I also would have liked to see more of TRON himself. I plan on seeing this movie at least once more!

I was at the first showing at our IMAX theater and can say I really enjoyed the movie. It was full of action, a little humor and the darkness that I have come to expect from all of the movies. I will agree with alot of the other reviewers that the book was better, but if, as I have come to expect, you watch the move in the context of the other movies it was a great addition to the franchise. I have learned that the movies that come out of Hollywood rarely are absolutely true to the written genre-some of that is the written word and some of that is the injection of imagination that makes books so enjoyable. If you do not go with the preconceived idea that the movie will be exactly like the book It will be a greatly entertaining experience. Don't expect the book--the two are different and both accomplish the goals of their respective genres.
