Accurate Depiction Family LIfe

It doesn't matter that the parents are gay - the family faces crisis not unlike those of most families with long term marriages and difficult teens. The lense brings you right up close to each character and their emotions and struggles. There is no fairy tale here - just the messiness of life and a families effort to sort through those problems in a very public way. If you have lived life - you will relate. If not, learn. Not appropriate for young teens.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
