This 4th Spy Kids movie does away with the gadgets that made the first trilogy so much fun, instead opting for a message about using your own unique talents to defeat bad guys. The movie is far more childish than the first 3,with jokes about everything from farts to puke. A so-called cutting-edge technology that allows viewers to smell odors featured in the film via scratch-and-sniff cards, works about as well as it did in 2003's “Rugrats Go Wild” when it was called Smell-O-Vision, which is to say not at all. My 10-year old just loved it, although I can't say the same for myself. It was fun to see him so entertained-- a good summertime treat for the boys.

Has many Greek references and strong examples of friendship and loyalty. The language is not an issue, but does have fantasy violence and monsters. My 8 year old had a blast!
