3D video effects were so real that you loose sense of reality. One thing you cannot do is reach out and touch objects but you'd want to. The amount of CGI work is unbelievable and its quality was never any higher. There is enough of everything: SciFi, love, betrayal, revenge, heroism, melodrama, incredible scenery, anything that you'd ever want in a movie, all wrapped in one beautiful 2h40min package which you'd regret to see end. My wife and I didn't want to leave, we wanted more of this magic. The closing scene with humans leaving the planet was definitely naive since humans would never leave or abandon their source of riches and loose an investment. But it had to be this way to have a happy ending and leave room for a possible sequel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
