If you are a big fan of The Last Airbender cartoons then by all means go see this movie. If not, do not expect young children to sit still for this movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This is the best animated film that I have seen in a while. My son, 8, of course, loved it, but so did my 4 year old daughter. I loved the dragons. Being a cat lover, I felt whoever created these dragons were cat lovers, too. The message behind the movie was thoughtful without being boorish. On many levels this is a must see movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Wonderful depiction of a beautiful city

Disney handled a lot of difficult issues in a wonderful way. They revealed a bit of what it was like back in the 1920s for women and women of color, but without being depressing. The vibrant colors, characters, story, and scenery were enjoyable for the whole family. Being from Louisiana, I think Disney provided a beautiful depiction of a beautiful city. Do not expect it to a perfect depiction, but a beautiful one nonetheless.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
