This was my first IMAX movie and the first 3D film I have seen in a long time. It was awesome! Beautifully created, I kept having to stop my self from reaching out to touch part of the film. Some of the animation is so life-like that you will swear that you are looking at an actual person.
I would not, however, take young children. There are sequences that could be quite frightening for those under the age of 10.
