Nice Atmosphere, overly simple

The movie is pretty to watch with the period scenes of England and Paris and the acting was pretty good. I was a little disappointed in the lead actress because the reviews of her were so glowing but the character portrayed was kind of inconsistent, seeming to be a child at times and other times much older--one could say that is the point but I wasn't convinced. Also, and this was my main criticism, the motivations of characters seemed overly simple to me and blame was assigned in a casual fashion, complex moral situations were glossed over in favor of a kind of simple melodramatic story line. Still, there are many worse movies and it was pleasant overall.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
