Breathtaking imagery in Avatar

I really enjoyed this movie. I feared the 3-D experience would be a drag but it was wonderful. (The modern 3-D glasses made a big difference). They really did a beautiful job on this movie. You really felt for the characters and the scenery was surreal. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

New Moon was pretty good

I expected more from this movie than I expected from Twilight. It didn't let me down completely but I did not feel the connection between Bella and Edward in the beginning of the movie. I felt Kristin Stewart had better acting chops this time around but her counter-part Robert Pattinson's performance left a bit to be desired. I felt there could have been more connections between the characters. The emotion was really lacking this time. It was over quickly and I was left wanting more, which is probably what the director wanted anyway.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
