Everything impressive except the end...

I don't know if creators are planning to do a sequel but it seems so based on a last minute of the movie. Impressive idea development and a flop at the end. I even liked De Niro, after his limitless commecrcial flops, in this particular movie. Abbie Cornish look like Charlize Theron from Devils Advocate. Very nice movie without too many FX that practically weren't necessary there.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Based on the old movie from 80th, this movie has a picturesque landscapes, exotic monasteries and very good play by Jaden Smith. Jackie Chan proved again his dramatic and funny performance, philosophical approach to the whole Ancient Kung-Fu traditions and understanding that you are not a killing machine but rather brave person that has to stand up against injustice.
Disappointing miscasting for Dre’s mom (Taraji P. Henson). In my opinion, she just is trying to hard to play someone who she is not.
In any case, I would recommend this movie to parents.

Very good disaster movie

I like to go to movies to see an action. Not melodramas or comedies -- you could always order this stuff online or through Blockbuster. I lioke to see something that would be missing on your home theater. This movie is not a dissapointment. I saw what I expected and wasn't bored during 2h 38 min which is rare. Try to entertain yourself and see this movie.
