This film was amazing. Tim McGraw was a surprise! You don't really recognize him without his hat, but he made a name for his self on the screen. Sandra Bullock deserves an Oscar nod. Her performance of the character really draws you into the movie. The supporting cast was great! I think if Kathy Bates was my tutor, I would find a way to learn!
John Lee Hancock did a masterful job of visual story telling. He was able to take the story he co-wrote and bring it to life. I thought the cinematography when Big Mike was in the laundry mat was masterful. My favorite shot was when he was sitting by himself and then opening up the biology book. Showing empty laundry washers, reflecting on how empty Big Mike was feeling! Great Job!
