Though based on a novel, this movie depicts someone's real life story. This movie is not for entertainment, but rather for those who have the caring to see the dark side of life and the courage of those who choose to overcome the most despicable and heartbreaking of circumstances and those that reach out a hand to help them. Cudos to Oprah and Tyler for lending themselves to getting this movie out there!
