CGI galore

Granted this is a very extreme view of what could happen type movie and the lead characters narrowly escape ever time their lives are on the line, for 2 hours and 38 mins. The CGI is fantastic and science behind the disaster is more probable than I had expected. Not a perfect technical story line but still enjoyable for the sci-fi watcher. I will purchase this in Blu-Ray when it comes out.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
