It was so-so ...

With all of the hype, I was looking forward to this movie. It was okay ... but I wasn't WOWed by the movie. The acting and casting was well done. I'm not a big fan of the "shaky-cam" ... I think the viewer misses details and you take the chance of sending someone into an epileptic convulsion when a director chooses that style. Not a fan.
Then there is the issue that a packed movie theatre is full of young children thrilled at the fact that children on screen are violent killers in a very class separated society. More left leaning brain-washing so we can get closer to that in our own world.
Maybe the books were better ... some things require your imagination.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Average at best. Poor acting and didn't really exploit 3D as it could have been.
