Absolutely awesome, especially if you watch it in 3D iMax with the glasses. I was at the edge of my seat through 80% of the movie. The characters come to life on the screen and the detail is amazing. I felt like I was falling off the cliff with the characters in the movie. Avatar is the best 3D movie I have ever seen. I am going a second time to see it. As you probably already know - GET THERE EARLY for the best seats! I'm talking like an hour early. If you choose 3D iMax, sit center row in the middle section for the best visual effects. If you get too close (rows 1-->5) then the 3D images tend to blur a bit.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
