Unlike the HP series, the New Twilight movies are, in essence, their own entities. Bella, for example, is a far stronger woman than in the books (where she is weepy a good deal of the time)
The only hmmm... I had for this movie was Alice. For a pixie like character, they had her dressed (with the exception of the bday party) in old lady clothes... omg... the hair!!! Bad hair. Alice is better than that, folks.
Was surprised by how well Taylor fared as Jacob the Man. (the audience gave an audible sigh when he removed his shirt to aid the bleeding Bella)
Fans young and less than young (we went this past weekend on my 35th birthday) are leaving the theater pleased. (Though the ending... auugh)
