For true Twilight Saga fans, this movie had to be a disappointment. Edward & Bella spent way too much time kissing. The kisses they exchanged in the school scene make her birthday request of a kiss seem silly, while in the book... the request is special since Edward has to show restraint from losing control & hurting or killing Bella. The werewolf scenes were well played, as well as the short scenes showing Victoria.
The problem with New Moon is the same problem with Twilight... they need a narrative to explain what is going on in Bella's head instead of the actress trying to show the anguish which comes across as repulsion instead of love.
