I liked the movie because I know there's a child/adult out there who has had/is having these horrific experiences. Perhaps a mother or relative will be able to see themselves as society would see them.
What I find disturbing about this film is: The real possibility of white patrons using this to label all people of color. What I call the "See, that's how they are" syndrome. Having worked in "The System", I know first hand, abuse knows no color.
