Even though i feel that a little too much hype was put on the movie, I am glad that Mr. Burton did not make it too unbareable for the child audience. The characters were just as humerous as they are in the cartoon version...but i do strongly advise parents to remind their children that this is just a movie and not to try the off with the head thing.;)
Yes, I recommend this movie.

i am a martial artist...and I was IN the first TWO Karate Kid movies...Why would u call this the KARATE kid when the movie is based in CHINA where Kung Fu was originated?... Frankly..I am suprised that Mr. Chan went along with the idea.. With all the changes that were made in the movie, this movie could have had a different title all together..PLUS it could have put Jaden in his own right, instead of being labled as a copy-cat... Don't follow anyone else...make them want to follow YOU.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
