A *very* silly movie, as expected, with "science" that a 12-year-old would question and plot holes the size of a Russian jumbo jet. The human-scale parts of the movie were as forgettable as with most disaster flicks; Woody's performance was the biggest exception--he was just obnoxious, and Thandie Newton was fine in her small role. As for the disaster scenes, though, they were amazingly-well-choreographed and "filmed" (must be near 100% CGI) with exciting view angles and the required near-misses around every 3-D corner with everything falling apart at a fast pace. This was the first film I'd seen at a CineMagic theatre with its digital projection system, and it was a real eye-opener--well worth the 75-minute drive!
