A little slow at the beginning, but I feel it was necessary to draw the audience in and get them emotionally invested in the characters & story line. A brilliant story overall, animal lovers of any kind will laugh, cry and love this movie!

This movie was OK, but the book was way more meaningful. I think the movie adapted the story to the outcome the book left you hanging for or wishing for, but that really takes away from the deeper love story.
