Not a Star Trek fan but this movie was pretty good. Movie angles were so realistic. I was a little sentimental with one scene - too reminiscent of 9/11. Overall, the movie was done well.

Only saving grace to movie is the special effects. Acting and dialogue was bad; although this should be expected considering sci-fi/fantasy genre. If you have kids, wait for DVD or Netflix; not worth the time and effort to go in movie theater for over 2 hours.
