Was not disappointed

I loved this book series and was so excited to find out they were making it into a movie. I did have reservations though, since movies made from books usually disappoint me, but I was not disappointed by this movie at all. It showed Katniss' closeness and protectiveness to her sister. It showed how smart and resourseful Peta was. It was an overall great movie. Plan on going to see it again before it leaves theatres.

Marathons - The only way to go!

I did the marathon of all 4 movies (Breaking Dawn at midnight). This was my first marathon ever and I loved every minute of it. I went with a handful of friends and we had the best time. The manager of the theatres was gracious, very nice and made it entertaining for all of us. He gave us all bags of Twilight stuff which also incuded free popcorn and soda coupons, he did contest giveaways between each movie and because one movie had a slight malfunction he gave us all another free popcorn coupon. I am definetly coming back (along with my friends) to Harkins Theatres in Chino for the next Breaking Dawn Part 2 marathon!!! Wouldn't be able to keep me away. :)

Could've been longer

I am a big Twilight fan, I fell in love with the books and went to see Twilight, which I liked, I expected more from New Moon because of the director,Chris Weitz, and the bigger budget they were working off of. Although I know they can't keep to everything in the book or it would be a 6 hour movie, I thought they could've added another 20 mins to the movie and added in some crucial points from the book. For example, the airplane ride home from Italy. That, I thought, was a crucial point in the movie where they both realize how they can't live without each other and makes their bond even stronger. Good movie, loved the CGI, but wished it was longer. I will still buy it on DVD when it comes out. Can't wait for Eclipse!
