I did not look forward to seeing this movie after viewing the trailer. I am SO glad I went anyway. I could see again and again. It is packed with drama, provoking questions, twists and turns, lots of mental health issues. Sort of an intense Beautiful Mind plus film.
This is not the engaging movie that The Notebook was. It was slow at times. The backline story of autism was good but I thought could be more developed. It seemed as if something was missing in the chemistry of the couple.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I did not plan to see this movie. While I liked Mel Gibson in some movies, I assumed this would be another shoot em comedy type. I was wrong. The movie kept me engaged. The fact that Mel has aged ...we all do. I felt this could be his comeback. In my opinion, his acting was above average considering the subject matter. He made it seem believable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It was very good and interesting. Yes, we do need a wake up call. Glen Beck held back nothing. Bill O'Reilly paced way too much. The disappointing thing was we had to see the taped Tampa session . The weather in Va had prevented it being broadcasted live. We did not know this until it began. The live broadcast was a major factor in buying the tickets. I agree with another's comment Beck could be a stand up comedienne.
Denzel is always excellent. Very good movie. Somewhat a Mad Max type but better. Has many underlying principles and philosophies. Violence - while intense at times, there is much more to the movie.
