An unfunny comedy

Perhaps I went into seeing this movie expecting too much, as I thought it was going to be a tacky yet hilarious spoof of vampire movies/shows in general (with obvious focus on Twilight). I'm a fan of the silly parody movies - Scary Movie, Not Another Teen Movie, etc. so I was looking forward to this one. What it gives you instead, is an exact clone of the Twilight movies, with "jokes" thrown in. Only most of the jokes weren't funny at all.
The jokes weren't even silly enough to be funny - they were just random, bland and predictable. The only semi-amusing ones were in the trailer. Since ALL of the rest of the dialogue was word-for-word the Twilight script, it just left you feeling as though you watched a 2 minute spoof done on youtube.
The acting was actually pretty adorable, as they get the Twilight character's mannerisms down perfectly, but that's the only credit to the movie.
Long story short: I highly recommend saving your money for a movie more worthy of it.

"Legion" Disappoints

"Legion" had very good potential to be an action-filled movie with a decent plot. I wasn't expecting a blockbuster, but I wasn't expecting it to be terrible either. Unfortunately, it really was terrible.
The movie is just lots of sleepy dialogue and almost no action. It spends SO much time trying to make you care about the characters that it evokes the opposite reaction: you want them to be quickly eaten by angels just to prevent them from inflicting more dialogue upon you. There's simply not enough action, and not enough answers.
Couple that with the story having more holes than you can even wrap your mind around, and all you get out of watching the film is the ability to leave the theater extremely confused and disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
