Loved every Terminator movie and even the TV series. Not so with this boring prequel. Explosions galore...weak plot with no character development. I did get some well needed sleep since the movie did not keep me wake at times. I would totaly see Star Trek again and wait to see this on Blu Ray.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Amazing Special Effects

This movie appeals to a wide range of viewers. My wife and son both liked it and pleasing them both is not usually easy. There are amazing special effects faithful to the comic book. Bridges plays a great villain, and there is cute humor throughout. Paltrow's character is better than the comic book and appealled to my wife...and to me. Missing was some of the Ironman sarcasm, and they spent a little too much time "inside the helmet". When is Ironman Part II ???

It's been a long time since I went to the movies as was surprised by a plot, loved the characters, and left wanting more! Special effects were fantastic and all three of us loved the film. I hope they do the other two books in the trilogy. I went right out and bought the books.
