Great visuals, mindless plot

The good news is that the visual aspects of the film exceeded my expectations. They are stunning. For the visuals, alone, the movie is worth seeing. I've never seen anything like it. Nobody has.
The plot is lame and the characters are two-dimensional. Both are better developed in your typical Spongebob Squarepants cartoon. It's almost as if James Cameron didn't want to give the movie any depth that would distract from the imagery.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
