Heartbreaking

This is a must see movie; however, I suggest that you read the book first to have a better understanding of exactly how Precious felt and to truly understand what she went through in regards to her abuse. It’s very sad that this child had a child for her father of all people in 1987 and no one stepped in to intervene on her behalf. It is disheartening to say but society failed this child I can’t believe that no one thought to remove her from the home and save her from her abusers
Yes, I recommend this movie.
