This movie was awesome. The special effects were amazing. Jim Carrey was able to incorporate his humor as usual and did a great job. My children thought the movie was fantastic. The only complaint my 11 year old had was the glasses were uncomfortable at times. My 5 year old found the ghost of "Marley" scary at first and felt the movie was to loud at times. Otherwise he liked it. There were times that the youngest did not understand the dialect and requested translation. I preferred the dialect because it seemed more authentic to the book. My husband was less than impressed. His description afterwards was "It was just ok." He said that he felt like the movie really didn't "come out" at us like all the other IMAX movies we have seen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
