Excellent except for a couple of the FX

For the most part I really enjoyed New Moon"! The main actors have matured, and the direction was better.
The only downside were some of the special FX:
I thought the wolves were "on again/off again" as to their realistic movements and structure. Their transformation from human to wolf was very well done though.
But the cheesiest FX of the movie had to be when Edward's spirit would show up next to Bella whenever she was heading toward danger. In the book it was just his voice in her head. I guess they wanted his countenance on screen even when he was far away from her. He kept materializing advising Bella to be careful - It was cheesy and contrived. I hope David Slade doesn't pull that kind of nonsense when he directs "Eclipse".
