Having a different director really showed. New Moon is not as dark and brooding as Twilight. There was more humoros monents. You'd expect that with Jacob but they pop up at other times. Kristen Stewert acting has improved.
The score was terrible! Not the songs but the background music. It was generic and trite. The swelling of violins during the love sceens and intense moments was distracting. It sounded like it should have been in a movie in the 11970's. It took away from the movie BIG TIME.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
