I have never seen the original movie but I liked this one and I would recomend it to anyone who likes horror and sci fi, well done, good acting, nice picture, good CGI and one piece of advice, if you go to watch it do not leave your seat when credits start rolling...you'll find out.

I do not know how this movie have 4.5 stars, that was what dragged me to watch it...but I think I do know why nowadays the teenagers spend more in the computer so 90% of the ratings come from them, it is definitely a teen movie...even though the acting was good the plot was very predictable, it explains how some of the characters became vampire etc but I was expecting more action, more CGI and less romance and blah blah, specialty with that back and forth thing with Jacob and Bella got me tired t, It was too long, I would not go to watch the next one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Not what I expected from a 3D movie made in 2010, looks more from the 70's, the story line was ok but it was predictable, I was expecting much more, as a Kid movie I would have given 5 stars but as an adult can not give it more than 3.

Instant Classic!

When I was 30 mins into this movie I new it was an instant classic, I had been waiting for big budget-instant classic movie and went to see 2012 thinking that was it but they put all the money into the graphics, Avatar though went over my expectations, this is an Amazing movie,it has the perfect balance of Drama, Romance, Action, and CGI and a very good story line with a wonderful message. I have never seen a Graphic that close to reality in a movie before, so guys go see it but go see in IMAX 3D it worth every penny...Absolutely Breath taking!!!

Great special effects

This movie was worthy to see just for the great special effects but for the rest it was more of the same predictivity of hollywood.
