I went to see this movie, a bit unwillingly and after having heard many bad comments, but I am glad that I went to see it for myself because I really enjoyed. What better place to set this movie in than New Orleans. It really is a magical place and if you never had the opportunity to visit before Katrina, I pity you. The music was great and I would definitely recommend this movie, just go see it with an open mind and you may be surprised like me.
