A sleep inducing disappointment

I can't believe that I, a big Harry Potter movie fan, am writing this. But I found myself nodding off, getting bored, being impatient with this movie again and again. The script and directing add up to a very weak story that adds up to a limp collection of scenes that fail to build tension or excitement, fail to use the relationships between the characters in a way that helps the story. The CGI is weak and boring.
It's a shame that the main actors are stuck with such bad directing and such an unbelievably bad script.
I literally attended a high school performance the evening I viewed the movie and was more entertained by that.
They're hyping this movie as potentially the best selling move ever. There is not enough hype in the universe to make that happen.
