As Good As Can Be Expected

As a true fan of the books, I was very pleased with the way this film turned out in comparison to the previous four. Prior to this film, the last Harry Potter film to follow its book nearly to the letter was Chamber of Secrets (Film/Book 2). Yes, the movie wasnt nearly as dark as the book, and yes they did change several things for time and screen appeal, but overall I was happy with the way they presented the worst book in the entire series. They did a wonderful job with what they had to work with.
In my opinion, as a fan of the books, the only people who are not going to like this film are the ones who hated book seven, reguardless of its good points, or have not read the books at all. This film is a good watch, and I dont regret standing in line for 2 hrs and staying up till 4am for it. I say you will enjoy this film if you like Harry Potter, and can seperate the product from your expectations and just watch it for what it is... A good telling of a bad book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
