How compelling it is to face "people of the lie". How traumatic it is to face the harsh reality that we must remove ourselves and walk completely away from family or friends that should love and protect us, but seek to destroy our well-being. I have friends in my life who have survived similar violations and tragedy. I applaud "Precious" for all it will do to provoke conversation in our community. Hopefully, it will move us to take action to address HIV/AIDS--as you never know --until you've walked a mile in someone else's shoes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
