For the first part, spoiler alert, the honey moon could have been better. The stars, how do I put this, acting had changed. As if they were reading from Q-cards. Being I hadn't read the books there were surprises though as in Imprinting. Now I was not expecting that and the CGI of Belle wasting away I thought was great. Still getting the DVD for the library.
Talk about your Star Fest, lost count of the big stars in this one. Spoiler Alert: Yes, big stars can die too. A bit more Techno Babble then I prefer, knda looked like a Nova Documentary at times. This is real scary for you Hypochondriacs and an eye opener for the Procrastinators to get your flu shots. Stil this is a good one, a must see and one to add to my library next to Outbreak.
Now this is what I call a great way to relax and fantasize. I really got a kick out of this one and it was so close to the original story. Be sure to sit out the entire ending credits or you will miss it.
BeamMeUp from Alexandria, VA said it was cheesy for a line from C Heston was in there. Actually there were two and I loved them. rupert Wyatt did a great job putting the words of Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Pierrer Boulle into a great movie. Ceaser may have been CGI but you can see Andy in there, he is so good. As for the ending, well, it leaves it open for a sequel that could start there.
Like the wife said, "Now I know why this and that." Not going to give it away with a spoiler. Great prequel that will for sure go into the library when released. Couple of goofs tho, the missiles were already in Cuba and the more coming were not in the open on the deck of the boat(s). Hope there is a sequel to show more X Men joining, nothing after the credits. The rating was for the scene, I would think, where they find Wolverine. LMAO
Professional critics must not like Depp. I thought it was great. Good plot and the sword fighting choreography was cool, wish there was more. Ian Mchane as Blackbeard was awsome. Special effects were one of the best I've seen in the series. Another reviewer wondered if there were going to be more, did you stick around for the end of the credits? Concessionaire told me to. Matey, you've got to see this one.
A great way to spend about a couple of hours for some laughs and action. Not your serious TV series or the old radio shows with the much comedy entered. Still it was alot better then I expected and recommend it but watch the age rating for the violence and language. It is good enough I may just go ahead and add it to our library. Being the theater has raised it's prices again we decided to watch it in 2D.
After reading.listening to the book for the umpteenth time I was looking for a lot but to find it missing. Harry's Birthday party where he got his pouch to carry his things, he was in disguise for the wedding, the Snatchers came into the tent and grabbed them and a bunch more. All in all though I really enjoyed it, what was in the movie was in the book, well sort of. It was fun and action packed.
The first time out saw it in 3D on the regular screen twice and was highly impressed. Enjoyed it so much that we got the BluRay disk combo. Now with the added footage, that helps explain a few things, wish I hadn't. We must have been at a baby IMAX because it seemed to be the same size only LOUDER!!!!! and more expensive. So loud the wife had to plug her ears and said later wish she knew that, would have brought her shooters plugs. Still one of Cameron's best
