After all of the hype, we were really looking forward to seeing this movie. What a disappointment. The first 30 minutes were so slow that we almost walked out. The accents were so heavy that it was difficult to follow the dialogue. The story was ok but very repetitive. The ending was a nice touch, but oh, the ordeal to get to it.

Have read and loved the books. Have seen and loved the Swedish movies. This falls far short of the Swedish version. This drags in several places and the beginning takes way too long to get you into the movie. All actors except Robin Wright were completely inferior in their performance to the cast of the Swedish movies. Rent or buy the originals and have a much better experience!

This may be the best picture of the year. And it's fun! Christian Bale gave the best performance I've seen in many years and Amy Adams was close behind. Don't miss this movie!!!!!

I took my 9 and 6 years old grandchildren and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of excitement and laughs.

A very dark, depressing movie with no redeeming elements. It appeared to be a vehicle to have characters say f*** and mf more than in any other movie ever. Save your money and your time and bypass this trash.
