This movie was incredibly slow. It was almost excruciating to watch as the director tried to put every detail (including some of his own) from the book into the movie. It was boring and fake although better than Twilight. I can give the actors props for actually trying to do what the director wanted (namely having to screech awkwardly in bed and act depressed), but it just wasn't very captivating.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
