delightfully tackey yet unrefined

What people need to understand is that a movie version of a book is something completely different from the book itself. Just like Harry Potter, the Twilight books may be great but the movies so far are not. Other than Pattinson, Fanning and Michael Sheen, the actors are sub-par and the storyline I have to admit does not offer nearly as much content as a movie really requires. New Moon serves its purpose in the movie world but unfortunately will do nothing more than that. Except of course back millions from all its twi-hard teeny boppers.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
