Definitely a romance movie. The fact that vampires and werewolves play a role well, that's secondary. It's not a action packed vampire/werewolves blood bath.setting like Underworld. In fact the intimate scenes remind me of a Turner Classic Movie. A teenage love story. I got roped into taking a female friend because she reads the books. She was a bit disappointed because it left out many "critical" elements from the book.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
