The story of what happens to so manny unaware innocent/ignorant or loose girls is probably true.
However, the story of the "Hero" father is probably unrealistic. Fathers who don't even have custody of their daughter that goes to such a length is unheard of. They wouldn't be risking their confie lives since most of them in that situation are dead beat fathers.
If there were such hero fathers, there wouldn't be that manny girls disappeared and a business for it.
(Ian's acting was superb).
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The movie is a perfect fusion of artistic creativity & technology blended with the typical warm loving American family values. Speed Racer has it all.
It's well made, edited, & acted.
You know it's all made up. But, it makes you feel real.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Deception keeps the suspense all throughout till the end of the movie.
Can't trust any of the characters... Unless, you follow the clues drop through out.
