Bad Choice of a Director!!

The first movie was great: it had a fresh "indie" feel to it, the cinematography was great, the music was great, and the quiet moments were kept sacred and real. The director did a great job. The second movie and the new director pretty much sucked. The film score (that would be the music) was cheesy and melodramatic. There were many directorial moments that were leading and obvious...especially with the intentional "pause, now look at Jacob's abs" moments. Lame. The three main actors did well in capturing the characters. I was very impressed with Taylor Launter's performance this time around. Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson were great as well.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
