I like Chris Weitz as a director, so when he got New Moon, I was excited. He stuck as close to the book as he could, only adding a few small things, and only leaving out a few things. The acting was 100% better, on all parts, Kristen especially. I was impressed not only with Kristen's acting, but Rob and Taylor as well. I hadn't ever seen another Taylor movie. I'm totally Team Edward, but Taylor made me want to cry when Bella leaves for Italy, he was pulling at my heart with his portrayal of Jacob, he was so close to turning me into a traitor. With Taylor portraying Jacob, I can now understand why people are Team Jacob, he brought to life the character so well, and makes him so much more likable then the books (IMO at least) made him to be.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
