This movie was true to the novel. I read the book first. The movie was a watered down version of the book (that is a good thing). I do not think I could have stood to watch the movie if it were as detailed as the book. Overall the movie was good. I just do not watch this type of movie due to the story line. I hope this movie will bring awarness to the child abuse. DO NOT TAKE CHILDERN TO SEE THIS MOVIE! THIS IS NOT FOR CHILDERN. Childern will get nothing out of this movie except a few bad images stuck in there mind. CHILDERN SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SEE THIS MOVIE.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
