I am a fan of the Twilight Series books. I've
read them twice. I loved how the first movie Twilight was interpreted.

I think Hardiwicke's directing was spot on
and the transitions between scenes worked
well. New Moon however, seemed choppy
and it felt like it jumped from one scene to the next. I miss the transitional flow Hardiwicke
mastered in the first movie. The color was a great improvement. I know that not everything can be in the movie from the novel, but so many subtle things were taken out, that it was disappointing and incomplete.

What is with the bug-like gold contacts?
they looked cartoonish on the actors.

Not sure how wise it is to use a different director for each movie - seems like you'd want the continuity.
