Story looses out to visual effects

Though this movie had some incredible moments visually much of the story was omitted. Taylor Lautner shines in his role as Jacob which allows the audience to see why Bella could feel so strongly for her friend. Unfortunately the intensity and intimacy between Edward and Bella are not equally represented in the film. Edward and Bella barely grapple with the decision of when Bella will be "changed" in the film, a topic of contention throughout the book.
The new Victoria, played by Miss Howard, blended seamlessly into her role.
Due to the lack of emotional intensity and the spectacular visual effects, this is one that if you are going to see it, make sure it is in a theater.
