Not having read the book (books having more time to develop themes and character), I did not have any pre-conceived expectations. Having said that, there were some spots in the story that I felt needed a little more coverage (explanation).{ A-} for the screen play. The actors, the majority of which are not 15, 20 or 30 year veterans of the craft, are quite good.{ A} for the actors. {A+} for the director, getting from the actors what he wanted.
