We watched the movie yesterday and you definitely have to arrive at least 45 minutes earlier, especially if you have a large group going together. We all had to sit in separate parts of the theatre as it was packed. I enjoyed the movie but not as much as the book. There are so many details in the book that would be very difficult to portray in a movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
