New Moon as a movie is greatly improved over Twilight, which I thought was a mediocre 2.5 at best. For New Moon, the acting is better, the script is better (lots of jokes), the directing is better - it is improved across the board. I have a love-hate relationship with the Twilight books and the only thing keeping this movie from being 5 stars are the elements that come from the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
