I've read all the books as have most of us that wait for the movies to come out (some more than once). I have to say this movie did not disappoint. Yes, Jacob is beautiful, Edward & Bella are convincing, the family is all that you expect and more. Every character fits just as you would imagine, right down to Dakota Fanning. It convinces you and delights you and makes you feel all emotions as you go thru the scenes with these characters. Kudos to the cast, the writer and the film makers - the seven in my group say - you made our day! Waiting impatiently for the next as I'm sure it just gets better & better. Reading the book just makes it more exciting, you catch the little things that you found in the book, or maybe you missed them there.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
